Pippa left school at 16 with a handful of GCSEs and no real knowledge of what she wanted to do with her life. By the age of 25, she had worked in the hospitality, aviation and wine industries but always felt she had more to offer. In the ‘90s, she had the privilege to work with a truly inspirational leader who recognised her potential, encouraged her to go to university and enabled her to grow as a person. This experience was formative in building Pippa’s belief in the power and influence of leadership and the importance of trust, support and challenge in the workplace. Pippa formed leadership development company PODA in 2000 and over the last 22 years has designed and delivered inspiring leadership and employee engagement programmes across a wide range of industry sectors. She has also studied at INSEAD, is a highly sought-after leadership coach and has represented Great Britain many times on the world stage as a Masters cyclist.
