With upskilling and reskilling a top priority for businesses in 2025, how can L&D teams lead a culture shift that embeds learning as a core organisational value? Join Rise Up as they sit down with Pareto to explore how they transformed their corporate culture, making continuous learning a shared priority across all levels. There is no doubting that the world of work has certainly evolved and changed meaning that many people are now working in positions which require new and additional skills, the consequences being that whilst some people may have welcomed the changes, for many others, the changes have led to increased fatigue and workplace stress. Unfortunately many of the traditional stress management strategies, which help to relieve the feeling of being stressed in the moment, don’t address the root cause of the stress and therefore as soon as the individual returns to the workplace, the stress returns. Now is the time to challenge our thinking around stress. In this seminar we will be looking at how having increased levels of self-awareness, and behavioural based coping strategies , grounded in neuroscience, can transform the way you think about and respond to stressful situations at home or at work.
Explore how L&D professionals can navigate employee resistance and foster resilience to drive digital transformation success. Discover practical strategies and insights to empower your organization's journey towards embracing change in the technology landscape and achieving lasting growth. Let's talk about how ‘workflow learning’ can help bridge the digital skills gap and shape a resilient and future-ready workforce.
In too many organisations, L&D is seen as a cost centre rather than a strategic driver. It’s time to change the narrative. To get your CEO and leadership team to truly champion learning, you need to speak their language, align your goals with theirs, and prove that L&D is the key to unlocking business success. In this session, I’ll share the blueprint that’s helped countless L&D leaders transform their proposals from “maybe later” to “must-have priority.” You’ll learn how to craft compelling business cases that resonate with C-suite priorities, backed by data that makes CFOs smile and strategies that CEOs can’t ignore. Whether you’re pitching your first learning platform or scaling your existing programmes, you’ll walk away with practical frameworks to turn your leadership team into your biggest L&D advocates.
We propose to run the same session as we did at WOL London. The session resonated with the audience and offered a light-hearted insight into some of the challenges impacting HR and L&D professionals e.g. imposter syndrome, people pleasing etc. Please see the overview below. ‘The key to keeping your balance is knowing when you’ve lost it.’ This lively, immersive session is inspired by Barefoot CEO, Kim Morgan’s award-winning book ‘The Coach’s Casebook – Mastering the Twelve Traits that Trap Us’. We explore a number of presenting issues, that we may encounter throughout our lives. These include: Impostor Syndrome, People Pleasing, Fierce Independence, Perfectionism and Procrastination. We share real examples of how these traits present in an interactive and innovative way, as well as practical advice and top tips for managing their negative impact in the workplace.
Discover how immersive learning technology is transforming the way organizations train and develop their workforce. In this engaging fireside chat, Luke from Virti and Josh from SJP will explore real-world examples of leveraging VR, AI, and interactive platforms to create impactful, scalable learning experiences. They’ll discuss challenges, successes, and the future of training in professional environments, emphasizing innovation in knowledge retention and behavioral change.
Personalisation has always been key to impactful employee learning, but scaling it has been a challenge—until now. Join Frances Kleven from LearnUpon for an inspiring session on how cutting-edge learning technology is transforming personalised employee development. Discover how advanced workflows empower organisations to create tailored learning journeys using employee data, making personalisation easier than ever. Plus, get a glimpse into the future of learning as Frances explores how AI is paving the way for hyper-personalised experiences, delivering unique learning paths with minimal admin effort. It’s a future you won’t want to miss.
In this engaging and interactive seminar, People Untapped will explore how their obsession with learning transfer has delivered transformative business impact for individuals, teams and organisations. Focusing on leadership and management capabilities, we will explore the innovative ways we maximise learning transfer in the design and delivery of programmes and how to use technology to measure impact and prove a ROI.
Being mindful of our thought patterns can really help how we feel on a day to day basis because very often our thoughts create neural pathways. The well-trodden neural pathway can impact how we feel, our mood and our perception regarding our ability to cope or manage a situation. Think of the time when you were asked to speak in public, or do something that makes you nervous. What are the thoughts running through your mind? What film in your mind are you playing? The more familiar the brain is with something, the easier it is to access. The brain doesn’t necessarily know the truth between reality and a movie, it thinks it has done it before and so can do it again, in a similar way. Athletes have been doing this for years calling it visualisation. Katarina Johnson-Thompson visualized being in the stadium ‘almost like a gladiator’ and then went on to ‘manifest my way through my whole career’. Denzel Washington calls this ‘imagineering’. We will look how to make sure this process works for you, rather than against, and what questions you can ask yourself to ensure your think your way to success and contentment, and avoid anxiety, which can lead to cognitive impairment, making it even harder to perform at your best.
In late 2024 Egle Vinauskaite and Don Taylor released the most recent iteration of their AI in L&D report and dubbed the results an ‘immaturity map’ of AI in L&D. So how do we help shift L&D towards AI as a business performance tool, whilst still embracing the transformative powers of AI-powered content creation? In this session we’ll look at the practical steps for how to do this and you’ll leave with a clear understanding of how you can push you, your team and your business into an exciting future.
In today’s diverse learning environments, personalisation is essential to engage a wide range of learners—from Gen Z, to individuals with ADHD, to other neurodiverse learners, just to mention a few. But how can we design inclusive learning experiences that cater to these different needs and truly stimulate engagement? Traditionally, developing learning content for diverse audiences has been time-consuming and costly. However, with advances in technology, we now have the ability to create customised, inclusive learning experiences more efficiently and affordably.
AI has immense potential to transform learning. Rather than replacing curated content or generating unverified information, AI can enhance content delivery by guiding learners on an engaging journey. Through conversational learning, the accuracy of information is never compromised as AI is trained on your own content, giving assurance to compliance teams. Conversational learning utilises AI to deliver a truly Socratic educational experience, allowing learners to dive into content through storytelling, debating key points, and thinking through reflective questions. Conversational learning is a dynamic and truly interactive method that adapts to each user, making education a more thoughtful, and intelligent experience.
Disruptive Learning offers a dynamic approach to equipping organisations for an uncertain future. Rooted in discomfort, it challenges conventional norms to foster creativity, adaptability, and discovery. By embracing failure as a catalyst for growth, it encourages learning forward rather than looking backward. Disruptive Learning involves unconventional, often chaotic, experiences designed to ignite innovation and unlock latent talent. It thrives in non-traditional settings, leveraging intuition, playfulness, and reflection. Ideal for emerging leaders and future planning, it reshapes organisational learning by prioritising bold experimentation over routine. This model transforms not just individuals but entire organisations, preparing them to design audacious, uncharted futures.

In the ever-evolving landscape of Learning and Development, teams struggle to deliver engaging instructional content at the pace organizations demand. While video has been a powerful tool, it’s often costly and difficult to update. This session will explore how Generative AI is transforming content creation. Attendees will discover how AI tools can help L&D teams produce professional and engaging videos quickly, market learning resources creatively, and maintain content relevancy using an iterative approach. Real-life case studies will demonstrate how leading organizations are using AI video and avatars to drive engagement and effectiveness.
Join the team at MAAS Marketing for a relaxed, interactive session where you can learn how to overcome your learner engagement challenges (at last!) Enjoy a glass of fizz as you connect with industry experts, share insights, and uncover strategies for creating real learning impact. Engage with fresh ideas and practical tips in a welcoming, informal setting.
